Biography

Deborah Claire Procter (Cardiff, Wales, UK) is a singer, performer and multimedia artist.She gained her degree in theatre at the University of Exeter and afterwards her Masters in Fine Arts from the University of Wales, Cardiff. Her performances have been shown in numerous prestigious theatres and galleries such as The Ferens (Hull), Spacex (Exeter),  Hemsley (Madison, EEUU), and the Museum Theatre (Madras, India). She has worked with Theatre Alibi and received training with Gardzienice Theatre Association in Poland. The theatre critic David Adams (U.K.) described her solo show “Don’t Know” as both “lyrical and quirky.” In 2005 she received the Creative Wales Award. In 2004 she received an arts award from Wales Arts International to visit Argentina and begun training musically with Oscar Edelstein (composer) to make the voice-work of difference pieces of musical theatre such as "Insanas (directed by Silvia Pritz), as well as "Rivers and Mirrors" and "La Grilla Acústica", both by Edelstein.

Deborah Claire Procter (Cardiff, Gales, UK) es cantante, performer y artista de multimedios.  Obtuvo su  título de grado en el Teatro de la Universidad de Exeter y luego su Maestría en Artes en la Universidad de Gales, Cardiff,  Sus obras han sido expuestas en numerosos y prestigiosos teatros y galerías como el Ferens (Hull, U.K.), Spacex (Exeter, U.K.), Hemsley (Madison, EEUU), y el Teatro de Museo (Madras, India). Trabajó con el Theatre Alibi, del Reino Unido y ha recibido formación y entrenamiento superior con la Asociación de Teatro Gardzienice de Polonia. El crítico de teatro David Adams (UK) describió su espectáculo de solo “Don’t Know” como "hermoso, extremadamente lírico y estrafalario." En 2005 recibió el Premio a la Creatividad que otorga su país.  En 2004 recibió una beca de investigación en Artes (Wales Arts International) para visitar Argentina y comenzó a entrenar musicalmente con Oscar Edelstein (compositor) para ser la voz de diferentes creaciones músico- teatrales, como "Insanas", dirigida por Silvia Pritz, "Rivers and Mirrors" y "La Grilla Acústica", ambas de Edelstein.
